I grew up on the South Downs in England and for as long as I can remember I have enjoyed a deep sense of connection with the natural world. My life path took me to Switzerland, where I now spend as many moments as possible roaming the landscape. Both these areas have been invaluable for me both photographically and on a personal level.

I see landscape photography as a medium to communicate with. Nature can be photographed to create a version of what the photographer realizes in the ambience, and, in that, also a part of themselves. For me it is largely a form of self-expression.

I hope that in sharing these images I am also contributing to our recognition and appreciation of our planet; the beauty, the majesty, the peace and the overwhelming need for us to respect and protect it.
